Hey there, you. I don't know how you wound up here, but it means so much to me that you've taken the time to look at my art. Your time is such a great kindness, and I appreciate it dearly.
I'm best known for my work in photography which is shaped by my childhood; one that was spent in the exploration and discovery of nature. I pull from these awestruck memories from my youth and my profound, lifelong love and appreciation for the untamed world when I work with a camera. My muses come and go, but my goal is ever present: to convey and elicit a broad and dynamic range of emotions both subtle and dominating. The greatest driving force behind all of my work is an unrelenting passion for my subject matter, my clients, and the people who view my art.
Currently, I'm expanding my portfolio by working in new media with a concentration in digital collages. Contrary to my work in photography, I draw inspiration for these new media pieces from the intangible facets of human existence, resulting in heavily surrealist works grounded by subtle statements on society, culture, and identitarian politics.
I have over two dozen awards to my name, including congressional recognition from the United States.
I currently reside on the gorgeous Whidbey Island off the coast of Washington State with my beloved husband who is the greatest source of inspiration I have ever known.
